Kitchen Chat and more…
Join us from Monday, April 2nd through Saturday, April 7 and help us raise a toast to 21 years as the Willimantic Brewing Company (and 27 as the Main Street Café)!
How are we celebrating?
Blast-from-the-past menu items all week!
We’ll be tapping Willibrew beers (including some from our barrel aged cellar) throughout the week and wrapping up when we take over 21 of our lines!!
And we’ll cap it off with a Party in the Pub with RHYTHM STEW on Saturday, April 7th! The fun starts at 9:30!
And it wouldn’t be a Willibrew event if we didn’t #beeritforward! We’ll offer a few ways to raise money for Covenant Soup Kitchen. One is a beer brewed just for the occasion, we’ll have some fun ways to display your artwork behind the bar for a donation, we’ll be donating a percentage of the profit from our daily specials (on Saturday only), AND we’ll be collecting donations on Saturday night.
‘Tis the season for the CTNow Hartford Readers’ Poll! They’re mixing things up a bit this year and are asking you to nominate your favorite organization in appropriate categories. Once nominating ends, they’ll assemble top finalists from each category and official voting will begin on May 1st.
Also, new this year is the ability to start nominating, take a break and then revisit it. Nice!
Please show Willibrew some love!
All New VIP Hour: We’re teaming up with our favorite local historian, Bev York, and our friends at Mercado for our VIP session this year! Willibrew will be on hand with a special cask, Mercado will be there with something sure to please, and Bev York will share some stories about our founding fathers (and mothers!) and their favorite libations. The VIP session begins at 11:45 and ends at 12:45, just in time for the 5th annual Thread City Hop Fest to begin! Tickets are $55 each and are limited to 50 ticket buyers. First come first serve!
The Thread City Hop Fest is organized by the Willimantic Brewing Company on behalf of Willimantic Renaissance, Inc. Proceeds from the Hop Fest benefit The No Freeze Project, Willimantic Renaissance, Inc. Vulturetown Arts, Windham Area Interfaith Ministry, Covenant Soup Kitchen, and Horizons, Inc.
Please be prepared to show ID at the gate.
We ask that you not bring dogs or children to the event.
Tickets are available online and here at Willibrew!
